Privacy, item by item.
Petites Gouttes keeps your milk inventory and settings on your device. The app has no developer-operated account, analytics service, advertising system or backend.
- No tracking
- No app analytics
- Local inventory
- Exports only by choice
Scope
This policy covers the Petites Gouttes apps for iOS and Android and the public Petites Gouttes website. It describes the production app as of the date above.
Petites Gouttes is an inventory tool, not feeding or health advice. It does not require a name, account, profile or contact details to use the app.
Data in the app
The information you enter can include milk volume and pumping dates, whether and when a bag was removed, storage names, reminder times, stock thresholds and display preferences. On iOS and Android, you can configure storage durations and edit use-by dates. The initial four-month marker for frozen milk is editable. Random local identifiers keep records distinct.
On iOS you can also enter the child's first and last name, so that the printed container labels, the weekly daycare plan and the daily handover sheet carry the identification a nursery asks for. That name stays on the device, is written only into documents you generate yourself, and is never transmitted to the developer. Leaving the field empty prints a blank to fill in by hand.
On iOS, records are stored with SwiftData and preferences with UserDefaults. On Android, records are stored with Room and preferences with DataStore. This data is used only to show your inventory, history, estimates, reports and settings on your device.
The app does not send this inventory to the developer and does not use a developer-operated server. On iOS, system backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings. On Android, automatic system backups for the app are disabled; you can create and import a JSON backup yourself.
Local reminders
On iOS, if you enable a storage reminder and grant notification permission, Petites Gouttes schedules it through the device notification system. The reminder time, storage label and notification content remain on the device. The developer does not run a push-notification server.
Turning a reminder off removes its pending local notification. Revoking notification permission is managed in iOS Settings.
Exports and imports
Petites Gouttes creates an export only when you choose that action. Depending on the platform and unlocked features, this can be a JSON backup, a CSV report or a PDF report. The operating-system file picker lets you choose where the file goes; the app does not upload it to the developer.
An import reads only the JSON file you select and processes it locally. Once you save or share an exported file, the destination you choose controls its copy. You are responsible for protecting and deleting exported files.
Purchases through Apple
The iOS app can request Daycare Pack product or entitlement information through Apple StoreKit. If you buy or restore it, Apple processes the transaction. Petites Gouttes reads Apple's verified transaction or entitlement result so it can finish the purchase or unlock the applicable feature. The app no longer offers tip products.
The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Apple's processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Purchases through Google Play
On Android, Google Play Billing supplies the Daycare Pack price and supports this one-time purchase and restoration of the Google Play account’s access. Google processes payment. The app reads the product identifier, purchase token and purchase state, verifies the signature locally to unlock purchased tools and also acknowledges the transaction to Google Play. The verified entitlement is cached on the device so it remains available offline.
When the billing service is used, the Google Play Billing library also sends operational diagnostics directly to Google over an encrypted connection. These include the Billing operation and result, diagnostic messages, callback timings and states, Android version and build details, device model and manufacturer, app version, device language and country, time zone, network/SIM information and event timestamps. Billing also creates a random identifier for the current billing client and includes it in these diagnostics. This is a session/client identifier; the inspected flow does not establish a persistent hardware identifier. The inspected transport contains no milk inventory. These diagnostics measure and improve billing-service reliability.
The app queries Google Play at startup and on resume to reconcile purchases. When a verified purchase has not yet been acknowledged, it sends the purchase token to Google Play to acknowledge it, including in this automatic flow. Buying the Daycare Pack remains optional. Deleting local app data does not delete diagnostics or purchase history held by Google; their retention and deletion are governed by Google’s policies and tools.
The developer receives neither your payment-card details, purchase token nor milk inventory. The app does not send this data to the developer or add an app account. Google’s processing of payment and Google account data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Website and support
The public site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts; its only third-party script is Cloudflare Turnstile, the anti-spam check loaded only on pages that contain the contact form. Cloudflare processes connection data to deliver a page, and the marketing pages can load App Store screenshots from Apple's content-delivery network, under those providers' own policies.
The form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyses technical browser signals (including the IP address) to distinguish a person from a robot. Turnstile is loaded only on pages that contain the contact form. The message is then forwarded by Cloudflare (Workers and Email Routing) to the developer’s support inbox. If you submit the form, the transmitted fields include the category, email address, message, optional app and operating system versions, and app name so the developer can reply. Please do not include milk-inventory details or other sensitive information.
Support messages are kept only as reasonably needed to answer and handle the request; Cloudflare also applies its own privacy terms: privacy policy and Turnstile privacy policy. If you do not submit the form, the developer receives none of those fields.
What is not done
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- No behavioural analytics, advertising SDK or data broker.
- No sale of personal information and no sharing for targeted advertising.
- No proprietary cloud account or developer database for your inventory.
The iOS privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected-data categories. It declares UserDefaults access for app preferences.
Your choices
You can edit or delete inventory records in the app, disable reminders, decline optional purchases and choose not to use the support form. Uninstalling the app removes its local container from the device, subject to any operating-system backup you control. Exported copies must be deleted wherever you saved them.
If this policy changes because the product changes, the updated text and date will be published on this page before or with the relevant release.
Contact
For a privacy question or deletion request concerning a support message, use the Petites Gouttes support form. This is the same form submission described above.
